Revision Info :	The Christmas 2002 release of the car resulted in a rushed release. I wanted to have various portions of the
car updated for the next release, as well as the inclusion of the original features I wanted for v. 1.0.

I added more color preset options based on the EA Firebird's colors, NOT the Corvette's, and went based on
the secondary colors in the EA Firebird Upgrade 3 to make sure that the body and stripe colors matched. :)

Azrael went about correcting various problems in the mesh. The back end, namely, was far too wide in the original
release, and has been narrowed. On the subject of the back end, I corrected the Trans Am / "bird" texture on the
trunk. Unfortunately, I never got around to adding the PONTIAC lettering on the back bumper, sorry. :\

Another bonus is an updated dash that includes a view of the popup headlights from inside. A cool addition,
but for some reason they're see-through on account of being a part of the DASH_LIT part from the dash.fce.
Consider its transparency a feature, as it reduces your view obstruction. ;) The GT spoiler is also viewable when
looking behind ... the parts from the CAR.FCE :HB and :OC were ported over to the dash view to make it as
realistic as possible. Very cool stuff.

That's all the significant stuff .. there may be other minor changes you'll see.

And by the way, if you previously downloaded the car, you will not have to reinstall the vidwall, as it remains
unchanged. If you need assistance installing the vidwall, consult the F-body Central thread on NFSCars.com or
ask around on the forum for assistance, since I don't know the details exactly on what you need to do to install
		it properly. :)

Thanks for your support, for this car is now a showpiece in the NFSCars Hall of Fame.

												- mecha and Azrael '03

mecha's [old] Story :

Well, some time ago when I released my rendition of Tim Howard's Trans Am WS6, a character named Azrael
messages me asking if he could use it as a base to create a Firehawk (or was it the Formula?). I was iffy
at first about approving the use of "my" car as a base, since car theft was a serious issue around the time.
Well, some time later, he starts sending me screenshots of the EA Firebird, retextured using MS Paint.

And well... the rest is history. We officially teamed up in the fall and released a series of low poly cars.
Azrael's accurate damage model on these cars proved to be the strong point for them, and they all racked in
decent download counts. But what would happen if we went and released high poly cars? Nobody had ever done
high poly Firebirds before ... until Azrael found Jason. Jason had an incomplete '02 Trans Am WS6 with errors
scattered about that were never fixed because he abandoned the project.

Enter: Azrael. Azrael acquired the mesh from Jason and set to work on it. The end result is a series of many
high poly Firebirds from the 1997 model year, and a 25th Anniversary '94 T/A.

The collaboration of many authors on this project and their efforts have made this once dream car a reality.

Extra special thanks goes out to Jason for supplying the base for this car. Thanks goes out to Dodge Boy, DSM Racing,
and Flemmen99 for their assistance. And a big thanks goes out to StickShift964, the dude behind the scenes. Why?
Because if not for him teaching me how to edit cars and supplying his parts I would have never released any cars
of my own, hence Azrael and I never would have worked together to bring these F-body beasts to the NFS community.

		Enjoy.

About modifying the car:

Don't do it, or you will die. Or, I guess you could just ask mecha or Azrael first. ;)

Installation : Put the "car.viv" in the "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed High Stakes\Data\Cars\25ta" folder.

Your NFS:HS install location may be different than the one above, but that should be right in most cases.

Enjoy.
